Supernatural

2020–2026 Within → Meta Head of Content

Launch trailer · Directed by Chris Milk

Supernatural is a VR fitness subscription on Meta Quest: coach-led boxing and Flow workouts.

As Head of Content, I joined before launch to set content strategy and establish the production pipeline, growing the team from four to 40+ across talent, creative, production, and post-production. Through Meta’s acquisition in 2023 and into Reality Labs, we shipped 15 workouts a week on a six-week production cycle, with 100% intent-to-stay scores on my teams.

Alongside running the content operation, I produced Supernatural’s marketing and guest-coach campaigns from launch.

Awards & recognition: Fast Company Innovation by Design — Apps & Games winner (2020); TIME 100 Best Inventions (2020); VR Fitness Insider — Best VR Fitness Game (2020); Esquire — Best Fitness Game (2021); Webby People’s Voice Award — Best VR Headset Experience (2022).

Wonderscope

2017–2020 Within Executive Producer / Product Lead

Launch trailer

Wonderscope is a BAFTA-winning augmented reality reading app for children. Stories unfold in the room around them, driven by their voices.

As Executive Producer and Product Lead, I built the team and led product and production from concept through launch — including StoryMaker, our authoring tool that let creators build interactive AR stories five times faster.

I brought story creation in-house, with our team writing, directing, and implementing stories alongside external animation partners.

Awards & recognition: BAFTA Children’s Award — Digital, for A Brief History of Amazing Stunts by Astounding People (2019); Kidscreen — Best Learning App, Original (2020); Webby nominee — Education, Science & Reference (2019); Webby Official Honoree — Best Use of Augmented Reality (2019).

Here Be Dragons

2013–2017 VP, Content / Executive Producer

Here Be Dragons, formerly Vrse.works, was an immersive production studio pioneering storytelling in VR.

I built the studio from inception and scaled the team to 35 full-time employees across production, post-production, and engineering. I executive produced more than 25 projects from pitch through global distribution, including work for The New York Times, the UN, National Geographic, U2, and Björk.

We developed capture, post-production, and playback workflows before industry standards existed, helping directors and brands learn a new medium.

Awards & recognition: Emmy nominations for The Displaced (2016) and Mr. Robot VR Experience (2017); Cannes Lions Entertainment Grand Prix, AICP Most Next / Best in Show, and World Press Photo first prize for The Displaced (2016); Sheffield Doc/Fest Interactive Award for Clouds Over Sidra (2015); Lumiere Awards for The Click Effect and Take Flight (2017); Vision VR/AR Best Live-Action Experience for U2’s Song for Someone (2016); Cannes Lions Digital Craft Gold for Dispatch (2018).

YouTube Music Awards

2013 YouTube Producer

The inaugural YouTube Music Awards — six live music videos directed by Spike Jonze and Chris Milk, each with its own set and story, all performed live in multi-camera.

I produced live music videos for Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire (starring Greta Gerwig), M.I.A., Tyler, the Creator, and Earl Sweatshirt — with Avicii’s segment written by Lena Dunham.

Beck — Sound and Vision

2013 Lincoln “Hello Again” Producer

Hello, Again was an immersive concert and interactive music film for Lincoln, directed by Chris Milk. Beck performed David Bowie’s “Sound and Vision” with a large ensemble on a custom circular stage, captured with 360° cameras and spatial audio so viewers could explore the performance.

I led production from the first meeting with Beck through final delivery — casting and coordinating 170 musicians, overseeing the stage build, concert, 360° capture and binaural audio, interactive website, live event, and behind-the-scenes documentary.

Awards & recognition: Two Cannes Gold Lions and one Bronze Lion (2013); Webby wins for Auto & Auto Services and Best Use of Video or Moving Image (2013); Bronze Clio — Branded Entertainment & Content / Live Events (2013); two One Show Silver Pencils and one Bronze Pencil (2014); FWA Site of the Day and Site of the Month.

Toyota — Project Endeavour

2012 Supervising Producer Radical Media

I supervised production on an award-winning series and Super Bowl commercial that documented the Endeavour Space Shuttle’s final voyage through the streets of Los Angeles — as a stock Toyota Tundra towed the 150-ton shuttle across the Manchester overpass.

Campaign awards: Four Cannes Gold Lions (2013); two One Show Gold Pencils, one Bronze Pencil, and one Merit (2013); One Club Automobile Advertising of the Year — Experiential (2014); AME Platinum and five Golds (2014).
